Hi, I go by EmpressMoko online for the most part. I am a trans woman from Alabama who has recently fallen onto hard times. I had a job, but then my car basically fell apart (both axles and the transmission). I have sold all I have to sell and have run out of money. I live in a weekly rental and I’m two weeks behind at this point. I have been walking for miles in the blazing Alabama heat and haven’t been able to secure work. I have been in the local news a few times protesting, and I dunno if that’s a factor because even when I dress back in male clothes and present that way, I still can’t find work. So, my mother called and told me she was going to buy a car for me, but the caveat was I’d join the military. As a trans woman, obviously even if I hid it, they would find out, be it through medical records or social media. This hurt me a lot, and I made an advice post, and several people said that I should make a GoFundMe, so here I am.

The goal: The amount of money I’m hoping to get would be enough to find a decent car, cover my back rent, and hopefully leave me with enough to move to a much more accepting state and hopefully get a better start. I know this is a long shot and unlikely to happen, but every little bit helps!
