Hi neighbours,
This GoFundMe is for anyone on Maldon Road who’d like to help us bring back a bit more greenery to the street. We’ve got a few gaps in the tree lines, and while we hope to fill them over time, we’ve had approval from Ealing Council to replace the dead sapling outside 36/38. The new tree should be planted before spring 2026.
The planting is organised through Trees for Streets, a brilliant charity that helps residents fund trees in their own neighbourhoods.
Meg and I have committed to cover the cost of this sapling, but we’d love it if fellow Maldon Road residents could chip in too. The total is £170 which is a good discount on the usual £275, as we’ve also promised to water the tree for the next three years ourselves.
If you’re able to make a contribution, it would be really appreciated.
And finally (thanks for sticking with me!), a gentle reminder: we’ve had some trouble with vandalism to the trees on our road in the past. Whether you can donate or not, let’s all keep an eye out for our trees. They do so much to make Maldon Road the welcoming place it is.
With thanks,
Patrick, Meg, Lucas and Oscar
