A new Pepsi Challenge! Help Nancy Ease Her Vet Bill Burden
Donation protected
This is Pepsi, a 10 year old Greyhound and retired racer that last week had a pancreatic attack. She immediately was rushed to the vet by her owner Nancy. Several injections & nights at the animal hospital and Pepsi is now home on her path to recovery. However, after three injections at $300 each and four nights of hospital care at $1000 a night, Nancy and Pepsi are left with an over $5000 vet bill.
We call Pepsi retired but that is only from racing, Pepsi works one Saturday a month at a local pet store to promote Greyhound adoptions as well as attending multiple fundraiser events throughout the year in support of Greyhound Pets of America. Pepsi is Nancy's 8th retired Greyhound. Nancy's work with animals does not stop with Greyhounds. Over the years she has opened her home and heart to all breeds in need of help and never asked for assistance or needed to be thanked.
Recently Nancy's husband has had back surgery which has caused her to need to take time away from her job to care for him at home. So, knowing that she would never ask for herself, we are here asking for everyone to come together and offer any monetary support you can afford. We understand times can be hard for everyone and anything is appreciated! Nancy's generosity of her home, heart, and time has no limits, and now with your help we can return some of that kindness and ease their burden!
