Update: Our family would like to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. They are working, just last Thursday we received a call at 2:30am that they had a new lung for Chet. We told them we could arrive in about 3 1/2 hours. Just as they were crossing the bridge into San Francisco they received a another call saying that the Doctor was not pleased with that lung. Hello, this is the family of Chet Killgore , we are reaching out to you today for your support , we are creating this go fund me for our father Chet Killgore to raise funds for his upcoming lung transplant. Chet was diagnosed with IPF (Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis) in 2017, IPF is a progressive lung disease that occurs when lung tissues become damaged and scarred, this thickened, stiff tissues makes it more difficult for your lungs to work properly. As IPF worsens you become progressively short of breath. It’s a very progressive disease, which develops day by day and has no cure except for the hopes of a lungs transplant. Chet currently uses oxygen at all times of the day to help with the shortness of breath he endures. Chet is already on the lung transplant list and may be contacted at any time.

Chet is a caring, loving husband, father, grandfather and full of life. Chet is a very kind man who is always there to help everyone and anyone in need. There are many expenses that insurance does not cover ex. lodging, food, and medications. We are looking for help to alleviate some of the burden that this places on the family.
