A New Loneliness (Documentary Short Film)

Hello friends, family, former teachers, former professors, past church-members, former co-workers, present coworkers, strangers, and many more!
My name is Olivia Hoover, and I am the Director and Co-Producer of "A New Loneliness" an original documentary film starring my two lovely grandmas, Grandma Judy and Grandma Kuku (aka Eula) This film is a story about grieving life before a pandemic, while widowed. Where seeing grandchildren, remaining siblings, and receiving hugs are all out the window, these unprecedented times can bring up a lot of old feelings and feel like you're in it all by yourself.
These two grandmas of mine have been through a lot in their lives, and I know this is just a blip they will triumph through. I feel called to share their stories in lieu of how pandemic/quarantine life for 6 months has been for them because I know they are not alone in this. My hope is that this film will bring solace to other widows or other singles in the US who feel the same.

In order to tell this story, we will need your help. Even $5 will go such a long way, and be sooooo greatly appreciated! No donation is too small, and no donation is too big. In order for me and my tiny crew (Jason Howard, DP/Gaffer/Sound Mixer | Chloe Bigwood, Co-Producer and TBD Editor, TBD Colorist and TBD Composer ) to complete this, we will need to pay for a few things:
-Flights from California to Michigan, flights to Florida, and flights back home.
-Film equipment rental fees (cameras, lighting gear, etc is not cheap)
-Cast/Crew meals so everyone is happy on set each day (5 days total of filming expected to keep contact limited during COVID times)
-Paying editors, colorists, and composers for their long hours transforming this film into something even more magical
-Film festival application fees
-Being able to pay my crew members rates they deserve for all the hard work they'll be doing
-Film Permits so we can legally film in each state
-Gas money
-Air BnB for our little trip in Florida so we stay quarantined away from Grandma
