A New Liver for Mom

The beautiful lady in this picture is my amazing mother, Patty Ross Moore. For years now she has been battling liver disease. She has reached a point in this disease where if she doesn’t receive a new liver soon, then her time with us will be very short lived. Luckily, she is on the transplant list. Her recent labs and due to the fact that her kidneys are only working at about 20%, have pushed her higher up on the list, which means a new liver could become a reality soon. Mom will have to stay in the hospital or extremely close by for over a month after her surgery. This will be in St. Louis. I started this go fund me for the expenses it will take for her and Gary to stay in St. Louis for an extended period of time. The funds would cover a long term hotel stay and go to help cover what insurance doesn’t cover for the medication Mom will need. Right now one of her medications cost $800 a month AFTER insurance. We are very concerned about how to cover the costs of medication.

I cannot imagine a world without my mother in it. Your generosity would mean the world to me, my dad, Gary, my brother, my sons, and everyone else who loves her. I can’t remember a time in my life where she wasn’t right there to help me in any and all ways possible. Setting up this page is only one small way I can help her now.
