A new knee for Queen Rita
Hi Everyone! I need to ask you one more time to help me out, raising money for a dog who is very close to my heart.
You may remember my recent foster dog, Queenie. She was with me for about 3 weeks and is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met. Well, shortly into her adoption (not 24 hours) she started limping, and as it turns out, she had a knee injury that was not apparent during her time in foster.
Queenie, now Rita (I like to call her Queen Rita) needs a new doggie ACL in the form of a TPLO surgery. These surgeries are highly successful, and she should be able to recover fully within 2-3 months.
If she does not have the surgery, she risks damaging her other knee, because of the extra amount of strain that she is putting on it.
Rita’s adoptive mom and I are asking for your help in raising funds to cover the costs. She is scheduled for surgery on December 22nd, and it would be the biggest Christmas gift in the world if we could get Rita on her way to recovery and a full, active, happy life without pain.
Any amount that you think you can donate would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, and Happy Holidays!
