A new house for the Mitchell Family

We are fundraising to help the Mitchell Family rebuild their home in Cobar, New South Wales after a devastating fire that raised their family home of 120 years to the ground.

The fire started shortly after midnight on the 10/1/2022. Thankfully all the children including their severely disabled son were all able to safely evacuate before the entire house was engulfed with flames. Sadly their beloved little fox terrier and cat both perished in the fire.

They have also lost all of their disabled son's equipment; - a hospital bed, wheel chair, special recliner and all of his medical equipment.

The Mitchell's 13 children have been raised in this house but it has also been home to many more children who have needed a home over the years. The family are generous with what they have but are not rich and unfortunately at the time of this fire were not able to afford insurance. The family have literally lost everything except 'Thanks be to God' their lives. 30 people will be without a home base if this house cannot be rebuilt.

The Mitchell's currently have temporary accommodation with family but we want to support them anyway we can.
