"A New Hope" for (Princess) Leia ❤️

A New Hope for Leia: May the 4th Be With Her!

This Star Wars Day, we’re rallying the galaxy to help Leia, a brave 6-month-old Golden Doodle puppy who desperately needs a new hope of her own.

On April 6, Leia was struck by a car. Her loving family spent everything they had to get her immediate care and imaging, but they were left without resources for the life-saving surgeries she urgently needs.

Because nearly three weeks passed before Leia came to us, her young body tried to heal on its own — but tragically, it healed incorrectly. One front leg is now shorter than the other, and her rear leg is severely lame. Without surgery, her future is heartbreakingly uncertain: she may lose her back leg altogether, and her front leg needs major corrective surgery to give her the ability to walk, run, and live the life every puppy deserves.

Leia needs us now.
We’re raising $12,000 for her specialized surgeries at UPenn’s Ryan Veterinary Hospital in Philadelphia.

Join us from now, May 4th — the biggest Star Wars celebration in the galaxy — until we reach our goal, and be part of Leia’s rescue story.

Together, we can give Leia a real "New Hope."
