Kevin’s Dream Treehouse

Hello Everyone and many blessings from my new home in Porto, Portugal.

As many of you know, I have made the Big-Life-Move to Porto in pursuit of a more-fulfilling meaning to my life. The transition has been stressful and joyful at the same time.

The apartment I was to rent for just 1-2 months turned out to be the perfect location and size for me. Small, simple, cozy with the potential to become my ideal and charming ‘Treehouse’. It is on the top floor of 1920’s building, on the corner above the treetops with two balconies. I have stunning views of the red tiled rooftops, the local cemetery and I can see across the Douro River.

The rental management company of this building has been very helpful and the amount of local Portuguese neighbors I have made friends with has convinced me this is the right place and this is the right time to be here.

Recently, the offer was made to me to purchase this apartment and stay here indefinitely. The owner wants to sell as soon as possible and I’ve been put in this position to ask for supplemental funds to buy it outright.
