For Steve a regular trip to the doctor with what he believed to be pneumonia became instead the devastating news that an undiagnosed birth defect had caused him to go into advanced heart failure.
For the past 3 weeks Steve has fought silently to overcome. Surgery to repair the damage has failed and now the only option is to travel to Boston and undergo a heart transplant.
Steve is a family man to the core. When he isn’t working to help support his wife Tiffany and their three children he most likely will have anywhere from one to all three of his kiddos on a spur of the moment adventure; hunting, snowmobiling, stalking coyotes, or on one of Tiffany’s many adventures or sports coaching endeavors. This family is always the first to step up when someone else is in need. Even in all of the chaos that is a family of 5 they will always manage to squeeze in a helping hand, help with a fundraiser, or say a prayer.
Steve and his family need our help now. With the two of them out of work and on their way to Boston, bills and travel expenses will inevitably pile up. We would be SO grateful to all who are able to help us ease the additional financial burden and worry so that Steve and Tiffany can focus on what’s important; a successful surgery and a strong, healthy new heart.
