A New Heart for Marc

Hello, my name is Stephanie Peltier-Green, as many of you know my husband of 30 years, Marc (Ivan) Green, has been going through an intense battle with heart disease for the past couple of years in the form of a rare disease known as Cardiac Amyloidosis.

For most of his life my husband has been a pillar of the community, dedicating his time, energy, and helping hand to those in need. From serving in the Navy for 7 years, to working in the schools mentoring the youth, and not to mention over 3 decades of pastoring and ministry work in Tennessee and Louisiana.

My family and I come to you to ask you for your support in the next step in Marc’s health journey. A heart transplant performed by the heart team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is his next option and saving grace. Vanderbilt is known for its state-of-the-art facilities and second to none in doctors and professionals in the cardiac field. This fundraiser will help pay for not only the transplant surgery but also a lengthy hospital stay, travel and lodging for the family, and extra help for the long road to recovery post-surgery.

This journey has been a fervent battle, not only for my husband, but for Marc’s family, friends and community. Any help you can provide whether it be donating to our GoFundMe, praying for Marc and our family, or simply sharing this post is tremendously appreciated. With your help and the Lord on our side no task is impossible, and I know that Marc will be back in good health soon.
