Help Our Friend Rev. Kerri on Her Heart Transplant Recovery Journey

If you know Kerri Allen, you know her heart - her faith, her strength, her laughter, and her fierce committment to caring for others. What you may not know is that after years of managing a serious cardiac condition, Kerri has now received the gift of a new heart.

Following her listing on the UNOS national transplant registry at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia, Kerri received her transplant and is now in the early stages of recovery. We are profoundly grateful to her incredible medical team, to the donor and their family for their selfless gift of life, and to everyone who has surrounded Kerri with love, prayer, and encouragement throughout this journey.

While this moment is filled with hope and gratitude, the road to recovery is long and costly. Even with good insurance, the financial impact remains immense - from medications and post-surgical care to temporary housing near the hospital and reduced income during her recovery and rehabilitation period.
