A new headstone for Todd Godwin

Todd Godwin, one of our fallen from 1st Battalion, 8th Marines, has a headstone that has faded and needs to be replaced. Todd’s mother mentioned she would like to get it replaced so the family can properly honor him. For those who did not know him, Todd served in 3rd platoon, Alpha Company, 1/8 Marines and later joined the STA platoon (snipers). He was killed in action on July 20th, 2004 just outside of Fallujah, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device struck his vehicle. For those who knew him, Todd was the best friend a person could hope to have. He led, mentored, coached, and supported everyone who needed his help. Now it’s time we show that same support to him and his family to get Todd a new headstone for his grave. Please join me in supporting the Godwin family in this cost.
