Help get a prosthetic hand for handyman Retterath

Donation protected
Ben Retterath owns and operates a handyman remodeling business. In May 2023, he hit his hand with a hammer. Not all that uncommon, given his profession. He quickly got very sick and ended up with a severe infection. After a few days in ICU, his medical team determined it would be best to amputate his left hand at the wrist. After several more days in the hospital—and thanks to God’s divine intervention, he made a miraculous recovery. He has been able to return to his remodeling work. It’s more challenging now with just his right hand but Ben makes the best of it. A prosthetic hand would help him so much, on the job and also with small, everyday tasks. These hands are very expensive and unfortunately, insurance does not cover any of the cost.

Ben is such a kind person and always giving back or helping others. Now his friends and family want to help him get a new hand! Click here to hear more of Ben’s story in his own words.
