A New Guitar for a New Beginning

After undergoing a life-saving liver transplant, I find myself on a challenging road to recovery. Music, especially playing the guitar, has been a constant source of comfort and strength throughout my life. For 35 years, the guitar has been my companion through college and many tough times. Now, as I recover from surgery and its complications, I dream of owning an EVH red striped Frankie guitar. This guitar would not only symbolize the blessings and second chances I've been given but also serve as a tool for my future in music.

My recovery journey has been difficult. After the surgery on April 24, 2025, I faced a diabetic condition that led to kidney issues. A recent fall in the hospital parking lot resulted in a partial lung collapse, adding to my challenges. Currently, I'm still at Piedmont, working hard to regain my strength. Despite these setbacks, I remain hopeful and determined to return to music, focusing on studio work that can sustain me financially and creatively.

The EVH guitar would be a wonderful reminder of the journey I've been on and the support I've received from friends and family. It would enrich my musical palette, allowing me to create meaningful music that reflects my experiences and gratitude. Your support in helping me acquire this guitar would mean the world to me, as it represents not just a dream, but a new chapter in my life.
