Hi all, as a lot of you know our little boy Toby, who we adopted in 2021, was born with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, he has went through more in his 5yrs of life than many of us will in a lifetime, yet he's a happy little boy who's full of life. Toby is non verbal and non mobile, he relies on us to communicate for him amd to get him around. The reason for this fundraiser is to raise money for a special needs buggy for toby, that he can use until he's at least 12-15yrs old, he is getting to big for a normal buggy, and the special needs buggy the NHS give you is not quite suitable for toby, he gets uncomfortable and they don't lie down, so long journeys outdoors sometimes have to be cut short, as toby can become quite irritable. If we had a special needs pram, this would massively help toby as he grows, to be able to enjoy being out and about exploring the world comfortably. The pram he would need is called a TOMATO EIO, unfortunately these can't be given by the NHS, and they retail from £769-£1000. I would love to be able to have the funds to be able to buy toby what he so desperately needs, but we just aren't in that position at the minute. I would rather help than be helped as that is just my nature, but if anyone could even spare £1, it would all massively help to get our little boy a pram that will grow with him and help his ongoing needs.
