A New Day Campaign

Repertory Company Theatre/Richardson Children's Theatre

Rising costs and inflation have drastically affected RCT's annual budget. Overhead costs are depleting our programming funds. A New Day Campaign needs to raise $40,000 by December 31 to pay for our season programming. Your contribution will support RCT's mission to engage, educate and entertain the community we serve through quality, local theatre arts.

Because program revenue covers approximately half our costs, Repertory Company Theatre relies on your contributions to produce each season. The main stage shows and year-round theatre arts education exist only through the generous support of individuals, businesses and foundations.

Your donation provides funding for the following...

MAIN STAGE SHOWS: This season RCT will present 9 main stage shows including audience favorites (White Christmas, It's A Wonderful Life, Guys & Dolls), shows straight from Broadway (Sweeney Todd, Bonnie & Clyde) and an Agatha Christie Series (And The There Were None, The Spider's Web). RCT has expanded the season to include two venues, RCT Promenade Theatre-Coit Road and The Courtyard Theatre-Plano, to better serve our audiences.

THEATRE ARTS EDUCATION FOR YOUTH: RCT provides year-round workshops and classes for ages 8-18. Students receive hands-on training in everything from beginning to advanced theatre arts and are taught by professionals with a focus on the development of imagination, communication skills, collaborative problem solving and performance techniques.

RCT is an important asset to our community. RCT provides experiences that foster empathy and collective sense of humanity which strengthens our community and makes it a better place to live and work. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
