A new day; a new way for DWS

Donation protected

On April 14, Doug Stumpe was in a serious motorcycle accident. His life, as well as the lives of his family and friends was changed forever. Doug suffered many injuries including a spinal cord injury which has left him with no feeling from the waist down. He will now be living his life in a wheelchair.

In the blink of an eye, Doug has lost his mobility, independence, his job and income. Being the spontaneous and "fly by the seat of his pants" person that he is, there was no plan  or savings for the future. Doug is in need of financial assistance and any amount you may be able to donate would be greatly appreciated.

Your contribution will provide:

Housing Modifications:  Necessary modifications to Doug's home to create a handicap accessible space. Immediately the house needs modifications to allow him to enter and exit the home as well as making the bathroom accessible.

Transportation Costs:  Doug will need to modify or purchase a vehicle to accomodate his wheelchair.

Long Term Medical Expenses:  Doug will need on-going medical care some of which will not be covered by insurance. Medical equipment and adaptive technology will also be needed.

Income Replacement/General Living Expenses:  Doug was an incredible self-employed painter and will never be able to work in his trade again.

Needs Not Yet Known

Please keep Doug in your prayers, send him positive energy and please consider making a financial contribution to show your love, support and help to pay the staggering costs as he navigates a long road to recovery and adjustments.
