Early last year, I lost my mom — my best friend, my whole world. Since then, life has been an emotional rollercoaster as I’ve learned to navigate everything without her by my side. After her passing, I had to uproot my entire life and move in with a friend, doing my best to survive and keep going, even when it felt impossible.

Now, over a year later, I’m finally at a place mentally where I want to take the next step — to build a life my mom would be proud of. I’m raising funds to help me get on my feet as I work toward stability and independence. Your support will go toward everyday living expenses, current bills, care for my sweet cat Whiskers, saving for my own apartment, continuing my post-secondary education, and, with the holiday season approaching, a time my mom and I cherished, any support will also help me create a sense of warmth this Christmas without her.
