A New Chapter Has Opened

Hey everyone! Bailey and I are starting our next chapter and are finally able to move forward with buying our first home. We've been hit with a lot of unfortunate events since we've gotten married, and we've worked hard to be able to bounce back from it all. Bailey pushed through to finish school for his electrician's certificate, and I've finally been able to stabilize my health (but that also means I have a high pile of medical bills).

We are very grateful to be able to purchase a home, and the one we have obtained is a nice home with some needed work. It was built in 1914 and hasn't had many updates to it other than the roof, water heater, furnace, and heating/cooling system. Lots of cosmetic updates, gutters, and fencing are required. We are stretched thin after all the closing costs and payments for inspection, and we noticed we might not be able to work on these updates for quite a while. We were hoping friends or family would be willing to help pitch in anything to get us rolling on this new home; think of it as a housewarming gift! Even if you can't float anything our way, we are still very excited to share with everyone that we have finally gotten our first house together.
