About 4 years ago I did a GoFund Me to make a change in life by moving from NC to WA. A job opportunity to work with a large well-known IT company came my way and I grabbed it. In some ways it was a good move and in others not so much. The work environment was not ideal in trying to stay, it took a hit to my physical and mental well-being, and I couldn't bear it anymore.

I had 14 plus iron infusions, 1 blood transfusion and two surgeries in two years. I was doing it with an excellent part-time job with the city, partial unemployment and PFMLA after the 2nd surgery. At this current time, unemployment & PFMLA has stopped, I have to leave my apartment right after this last surgery. I recently obtained full-time employment and in the process of finding a place. Kids & I are safe while staying at hotels & Airbnb. My health is strong; mental is better & I feel I am heading out of this crazy set of circumstances and back to stability. I see that this coming out here has been great for my girls and would like to continue here so we can all thrive.
