Clifford and Sunny Grant have been missionaries in Guatemala since 1984. They have three beautiful kids: Grace, Michael, and Mary Catherine (Cathy). They have planted four churches and received many blessings throughout their time in Guatemala. They knew they were called to love and serve the beautiful people of Guatemala, and they continue to follow that calling. After 42 years, their love for Jesus and Guatemala has never failed. They have seen God's mercy and love throughout the years, sacrificing by leaving their families and hometown behind to follow their calling, knowing that the ups and downs would be present but knowing that God's faithfulness never fails!

Today, they face a struggle, and we reach out in love. On Sunday, March 22, 2026, they were driving in the little town they live in, and their vehicle had mechanical issues. My sister (Grace), who was in the vehicle with them, smelled something and told Dad to pull over. He said, "Oh, it’s nothing" (very common for Clifford, my dad, to say), but she insisted that something was wrong. Sure enough, Dad pulled over, and they were able to get out of the car safely. The car caught on fire and was burnt to a total loss. We only had material loss, and that is why we are reaching out to our beautiful community to raise money to buy Clifford and Sunny a car. I know it’s hard times for everyone, but anything would make a difference. As their daughter, I pray God will listen to my prayer and provide for their needs!
