A new beginning in the world of the blind

Hello, I am Lorena Tirado from Guatemala, I am 67 years old, I have two daughters and four grandchildren. I had my first cancer at the age of 40, the second at the age of 47 and the third at the age of 48. From the second and third cancer at the end of 2004 to mid-2007, I had many sessions of aggressive chemotherapy, of which they affected me in several places of my body, including my eyes, which I am currently already in Low Vision and losing my sight due to damage to the optic nerve, visual photophobia, and a mass on the eyelid of my right eye; also, the teeth in my mouth, my entire teeth are falling out due to lack of bone. These situations are causing me a lot of difficulties and impediments to be able to continue in my development, evolution of life for all my activities and be as independent as possible.

They have also caused me anxiety, anguish, and frustration since I have marked limitations in my life. That is why I turn to your generosity and support to raise funds to be able to pay for what is necessary for my eyes and my mouth, such as treatments. specialized exams, medicines, dental prostheses, glasses, and special accessories for the blind and to be able to continue contributing and developing. Hola, soy Lorena Tirado de Guatemala tengo 67 años, tengo dos hijas y cuatro nietos. Tuve mi primer cáncer a los 40 años, el segundo a los 47 y el tercero a los 48. Del segundo y tercer cáncer a finales del 2004 a mediados del 2007, tuve muchas sesiones de quimioterapia agresiva, de las cuales me afectaron en varias partes de mi cuerpo, entre ellas mis ojos, que actualmente estoy ya en Baja Visión y perdiendo la vista por daño en el nervio óptico, fotofobia visual, y una masa en el párpado del ojo derecho; además la dentadura de mi boca, que se me están cayendo los dientes enteros por falta de hueso. Dichas situaciones me están provocando mucha dificultades e impedimentos para poder seguir en mi desarrollo, evolución de vida para todas mis actividades y ser lo más independiente posible.

También me han provocado ansiedad, angustia y frustración ya que tengo limitaciones marcadas en mi vida. Es por lo que acudo a su generosidad y apoyo para recaudar fondos para poder costear lo necesario para mis ojos como para mi boca, como tratamientos. exámenes especializados, medicinas, prótesis dentales, lentes y accesorios para ciegos especiales y poder seguir contribuyendo y desarrollándome.
