Hi, my name is Tasha, and I’m a mom of two doing everything I can to create a stable, safe future for my family. Right now, we’re facing a major transition. Due to rising living costs and housing uncertainty in California, I’ve made the VERY difficult but necessary decision to relocate to Texas, where we have a better opportunity to rebuild with stability. This move isn’t about giving up—it’s about creating a foundation for my kids and pets. My son is preparing to enter high school and begin summer football training, and I want to make sure he has structure, support, and the chance to grow both academically and athletically. I’ve spent years coaching and mentoring the youth, building programs across multiple cities, and helping athletes develop confidence, discipline, and opportunity. Now, I’m trying to do the same for my own family. As strong as I try to be, I’ll be honest—this transition is VERY overwhelming. We are working to secure safe, stable housing once we arrive, cover moving costs (truck, gas, lodging for the drive), handle deposits and initial living expenses while I get established, and ensure my son can begin school and training without disruption. We do have a short-term place to land with family, but the first few weeks will be critical as we work to get on our feet. I’m used to being the one helping others, building programs, and showing up for my community. This time, I’m asking for help to get through a moment that matters deeply for my family’s future. If you’re able to support—whether through a donation or by sharing this—it truly means more than I can put into words. We’re working toward a fresh start, stability, and the opportunity to build something better. Thank you for being part of that journey. —Tasha
