A New Beginning for Quinn in Illinois
Donation protected
I am Quinn, a trans woman escaping Texas. I am working as hard as I can to save, but it isn't going well.
I already have a safe place to catch me, and a way to pay for a living once I relocate to my new home state. I am a graduate student who was recently accepted into a program in Illinois, and my tuition and living expenses will be covered. Essentially, I just need help getting out. I am stuck with just part time work, despite my best efforts.
Texas has become increasingly hostile towards people like me, the state is attempting to limit my access to my hormones and other medical care. Also, my legal identification is at risk of being reverted to its original status before it was LEGALLY changed in a Texas court. This makes interactions with the public, jobs, and other situations incredibly dangerous.
Long story short, I need out. I have something to catch me when I get safe, and I'll have a place to stay when I get there. I just need some help with moving expenses, an initial deposit on a place, and getting myself and my cat to the new state. Thank you so much.
