A New Beginning for Crystal and Family

Hello everyone, you know me as Crystal Crafts, but let me introduce myself. I’m Crystal Clifford. In 2011, my parents lost their house after struggling with the housing bubble crisis, which forced me and my soon-to-be family out and into what we thought would be a temporary housing situation. I was 6 months pregnant when we moved into our one-bedroom apartment, and now fast forward, entering our 13th year. We are living in a rundown old tin can. Our son Henry is going to be 13 in May, and I’d love for him to have his own space and privacy as all teens should, and parents. We’ve tried for years to move out, but financially it’s never worked out. We struggle to save as I and my son are on disability.

We have found a modern and affordable place near my mom in town, but we can’t afford to pay the application fees, moving costs (we need to hire movers; I’m not as strong as I used to be, and Alan, Henry’s father, is a type 1 diabetic who can’t move an apartment by himself), and to help get us situated all in one swoop.

We are currently in our building, the only apartment that isn’t renovated, and this place wore us down long ago, to be honest. We would love and appreciate any and all help that can be provided. Even if you just share this information, please.
