A new beginning for a struggling single Mom.

Someone I love is in crisis.

 

She’s a single working mother of two young children, who’s finally escaped her partner after 15+ years of abusive manipulation. She’s also one of the strongest people I know, and she has a laugh that can light up a room.

 

She became a mother at a very young age. She put herself through school years later and now works nights, taking care of others, before coming home to take care of her kids.

 

But life can be cruel and unfair. Even for the ones who work so hard to keep it all afloat.

 

For all the strength it’s taken to leave her partner, she’s now struggling to find a place to live. With a single income, two kids, the rise of inflation, and rent skyrocketing beyond the cost of a monthly mortgage, where does she go from here?

 

My only goal is to raise enough money to cover her first and last month’s rent, to give her the leg-up she so desperately deserves. To give her a fresh start, a clean slate to start a new path forward.
