Bringing Fresh, Handcrafted Desserts to My Community—With Your Help

Hi, I’m Brittany Love, a passionate vegan baker and CEO of Free Birds Vegan Kitchen, with a BIG dream—to create a local bakery that makes fresh, handcrafted, plant-based desserts easily accessible to my community.

For years, I’ve been baking from home, creating everything from delicious cinnamon rolls to beautiful buttercream cakes, but one challenge has always remained:

❌ There’s nowhere nearby to buy fresh, high-quality vegan desserts.

❌ Lithia Springs is a food desert—meaning good food options are already limited.

❌ Without a dedicated bakery space, I can’t serve my community the way I want to.

That’s why I’m building my own bakery shed—a fully licensed commercial space right in my backyard. This will allow me to scale my business, expand my menu, and make it easier for people to get fresh, high-quality, plant-based treats.

But to make this happen, I need your support.

What Your Donation Will Help Fund

Building a bakery isn’t easy, and I’ve already invested my own money and time into getting this project off the ground. But there are still some major expenses left.

I’m raising $25,000 to complete Phase 1 of my bakery build, which includes:

Plumbing & Concrete Foundation – $7,000

Bakery Shed Structure – $10,500

Doors & Essential Equipment – $4,500

Incidentals & Permit Costs – $3,000

Every dollar raised goes directly into creating this space, getting it up to code, and officially opening my doors!

This is about accessibility. Right now, the closest place to grab a high-quality, plant-based dessert is miles away. I want to change that.

This is about preserving the art of baking. Last year, I attended a BakingTech conference where industry leaders talked about how the baking industry is dying—we don’t have enough people from younger generations carrying the torch. I want to be part of the solution.
