A Muslim mother of 4 scammed & facing large debt
Donation protected
Asalamualaikum
I have created this fundraiser on behalf of my aunt. My aunt recently was scammed out of an incredibly high amount of money putting her in a devastating debt. The perpetrator had a calculated plan over a long period of time to gain her trust and then take all of her, and other family members life savings. This fundraiser will assist her in paying off all the debt she owes to the other families and help her get back on her feet.
The aftermath has been devastating for her and my family. The stress and heartbreak of this experience has been traumatic and taken a detrimental toll on her mental and physical health. She has been in and out of the hospital and unable to care for her children.
She is a mother of 4, a wife,an aunt, a sister and a devoted friend. Anyone that knows her knows that she would give the shirt off her back, even if it were her only one, to someone in need. She works throughout the year raising money for those in need and is always giving back to her community by leading major projects.
I ask you as my brothers and sisters to please support this mother. May Allah reward you tremendously for supporting her through this trial and test. Helping someone pay a debt is a favored and virtuous action in Islam. It is praiseworthy and highly rewarding to lift a burden from one’s brother.
Reported by Abu Hurairah (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “He who removes from a believer one of his difficulties of this world, Allah will remove one of his troubles on the Day of Resurrection; and he who finds relief for a hard-pressed person, Allah will make things easy for him on the Day of Resurrection.”
