A Mums Desperate Plea: Help Victoria and her kids to Safety

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

My name is Mary and i am fundraising for Victoria, an African mum of 3 kids that is fleeing from domestic abuse.

My heart is heavy as I write this, reaching out to you with an urgent and desperate plea for a dear friend, Victoria and her three innocent children. They are facing a crisis that no family should ever endure – a crisis born from the shadows of domestic abuse, which has now left them utterly homeless and vulnerable.

Imagine the unimaginable: fleeing the only home you’ve known, not because you want to, but because staying means facing danger every single day. That is the harrowing reality Victoria has bravely confronted. For too long, she endured a painful cycle of abuse, but for the sake of her beloved children, she found the strength to break free. She chose their safety, their future, over everything else.

But freedom has come at an immense cost. With nowhere to go, no support system to immediately fall back on, Victoria and her 3 precious children are now living on the in temporary, unstable shelters, their lives turned upside down. My heart aches when I think of her trying to comfort her little ones, shielding them from the harsh realities of homelessness, all while battling her own trauma and fear.

We can’t let this family suffer alone. They deserve a chance to heal, to rebuild, and to experience safety and stability. They need urgent funds for:

Safe Shelter: Immediate housing, even if it's a temporary apartment or an extended stay in a motel, to get them out of harm's way.

Food and Necessities: Basic groceries, clothing, hygiene products, and essentials for four growing children who have lost everything.

Medical Care: The stress and trauma have taken a toll, and the children, especially, need consistent access to healthcare.

A Fresh Start: Funds to help with a deposit to rent a safe home, and to begin replacing the household items they were forced to leave behind.

Victoria is a resilient and loving mother who has always put her children first. Now, she is at her most vulnerable, and she needs us. Even a small donation can make an immense difference. It’s not just about money; it’s about providing hope, dignity, and a pathway to a new life free from fear.
