Help Thomas Provide for His Family in Haiti

I met Thomas while on a mission trip to Haiti in 2018. Thomas worked for an organization that brought aid to local communities, serving as an interpreter for volunteers and helping support the people of his own community.

Over the last six years, Haiti has faced severe turmoil. There are very few opportunities for stable income, and widespread gang violence has created constant fear and uncertainty. Hunger is a daily reality for many families.

Tragically, armed gangs took over Thomas’s home and set it on fire, forcing his family to flee. For safety, Thomas and his family were separated. His wife and young daughter are currently living with his wife’s sister, while Thomas moves from place to place doing whatever he can to put food on the table.

We created a short video to help share Thomas’s story and show the reality of what he and his family are facing. We encourage you to watch it to better understand why this support is so critical.

Our goal is to raise money to help Thomas purchase a motorcycle. In Haiti, this would allow him to work as a motorcycle taxi driver—one of the few reliable ways to earn income and support his family.
