A mother’s worst nightmare- help lay Nevada Whitley to rest.

Hi, my name is Skye, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my aunt, Glenda Dunning-Whitley, who is facing every mother’s worst nightmare — the devastating loss of her 23-year-old son, Nevada Whitley.

On Sunday, our beloved Nevada passed away due to pneumonia and other ongoing health complications. His passing has left a deep hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. He was young, kind, and full of potential. He had so much more life to live, and we are struggling to come to terms with this heartbreaking loss.

Nevada was not Glenda’s only child, but he was her baby- her youngest and the bond they shared was unbreakable. No parent should have to bury their child, let alone find the means to do so while grieving such a profound loss. His dad, Jeff, his brother Joe, and his sister Jamaica feel the devistating loss of their son and brother and are now faced with the heartbreaking task of planning his funeral. Your support will help them give him the dignified goodbye he deserves.

I’ve started this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses, so Glenda, Joe and Jamaica and family can focus on saying goodbye and beginning the long road to healing.
