We are deeply saddened to share the tragic passing of Quinceia, who was a beloved member of our family and community. In this time of immense grief, her family has faced yet another heartbreaking challenge: the theft of the funds donated to support her final arrangements and to cover bills.

Before Quinceia passed, a GoFundMe campaign was created to assist with the costs of funeral services, medical bills, and to provide her family with some financial relief during this difficult time. Tragically, her ex-boyfriend, who has a history of substance abuse and troubling behavior, exploited the situation by stealing the funds and her personal belongings that were intended to honor her memory and support her grieving family.

This betrayal has placed an additional burden on a family already reeling from the loss of their loved one. The funds raised were meant to cover funeral expenses, bills, and help the family take the necessary time off to grieve and heal. Instead, these funds were unlawfully taken by someone who should have shown compassion and respect during this difficult period.

In a cruel turn of events, he is now demanding Quinceia's death certificate to release the funds back to her family, adding unnecessary stress and pain to an already tragic situation. We are asking for your support once again, not only to help cover the stolen funds, but to help the family regain their strength and honor Quinceia's memory with the services she deserved. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly to the family to cover bills and legal costs to fight for what was rightfully theirs.
