On Christmas Eve morning, our son JohnnyLee White was involved in a serious car accident while driving home from a friend’s house. He hit a patch of black ice, lost control of his car, and it flipped several times. We are incredibly thankful to God for His protection—our son walked away alive.
Unfortunately, the car is completely totaled. He only carries liability insurance, so there is no coverage to help with the loss. He is visiting from North Carolina for Christmas and now has no way to get back home. On top of that, there is an $1800 towing fee that he simply cannot afford.
This situation is especially difficult because he had just overcome a financial setback. After a lot of hard work and sacrifice, he finally had his car running again. Losing it so suddenly has been heartbreaking for him and for us as parents.
He is a faithful, hardworking young man with a kind heart who is always willing to help others. As his parents, it is painful to watch him struggle when all we want to do is help—and right now, we don’t have the extra resources to do so.
We are trusting God during this unexpected trial and leaning on the kindness of others. If you feel led to give, any donation will go toward towing costs, transportation, and helping him begin again. If you’re unable to donate, we ask for your prayers and for you to share this fundraiser.
Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ during this difficult season. We are deeply grateful for every prayer, act of kindness, and show of support. ❤️
