A Mother’s Plea – Restarting a Life in Hawaii

Hi, I’m Inga — a mother of two beautiful girls, Ance (8) and Marta (5). We’re currently living in Spain, far from our home, our support system, and the life we need to rebuild.

Two years ago, we followed a family dream and temporarily relocated to Europe. But during this time, my husband and I separated — unexpectedly and painfully. That separation has made things incredibly difficult, especially financially.

Now, based on a signed legal agreement between us, our family is set to relocate back to Hawaii — where we lived before, where my daughters felt safe and connected, and where I have a chance to rebuild a stable life for the three of us.

But here’s the problem:

Despite our agreement, and despite repeated requests, I’ve been left to manage this entire transition alone — with no access to joint funds, no financial support from my husband, and only a personal credit card I can no longer use. I've been covering all of the girls’ needs — food, medical care, school supplies, and planning for flights and housing in Hawaii — without the means to continue.

This is not something I ever imagined I'd have to do. But I am asking for help.

We need funds to:

Secure safe housing in Hawaii

Pay for plane tickets

Cover daily needs until I can work again and fully support us

I’ve done everything I can behind the scenes to resolve this privately. But I now have just weeks left before the move, and no support system here in Spain to rely on. This is no longer just a legal matter — this is about getting my girls safely home.
