I left an emotionally and financially abusive relationship hoping things would get better, but they have progressively gotten worst. My kids are being kept from me with little to no communication and I am desperate looking to raise funds for a lawyer. If you know me, you know I’m a problem solver to my core with a ton of pride never asking for help. This is the first time in my life where I am truly lost and have no clue what to do. I have zero family support and I am drowning financially because of being financially abused for so long. I am 2 months behind on rent, lost my car to an accident and have no means of transportation right now. On top of a ton of other bills that I couldn’t even begin to save for a lawyer. I am asking for help because I cannot lose my kids.
