As a mother, you never want to receive the call that your children’s home is on fire. My heart is breaking for my son, his girlfriend, and my 19-year-old daughter and our family dog Zeus. They lost everything in a house fire last night in Morgan Hill. My two grandbabies, just 8 months and 1 year old, no longer have a bed to sleep in or toys to play with. My daughter, who is working so hard in college, lost all the tools she needs for her education.

They did not have renter's insurance, a hard lesson learned during a tragic time, and are now faced with rebuilding from scratch. They are displaced and overwhelmed. I am asking for the community’s help to get them into a safe place and replace the necessities for the babies and for my daughter’s schooling.
