A Mother's Ongoing Fight for Life

Hi, my name is Debbie and I'm fundraising for my sister Dina Burnett. My sister had an accident a couple weeks ago and ended up breaking both ankles and both legs. She's been battling cancer for last several years on top of COPD and a few more health issues. Because of my sister being in the hospital my brother-in-law lost his job because he has to stay home and take care of their nine year old son, he has severe behavioral autism and there's no one else to watch him. My sister is a most amazing woman. And she is a strong woman and has a good heart which is not functioning properly either. She has gone through three rounds of chemo and I don't know how many surgeries, she is a fighter they're just having a hard time right now. My husband and I try to help them out as much as we possibly can when they need it, which is not very often. When she leaves the hospital she goes to Assisted Living for Rehab which will take 60-90 days and after that, my brother-in-law can find a new job. Because my brother-in-law hasn't been able to work in the last couple of weeks they're now behind on the car payment, rent and basic utilities on top of groceries. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help them with their rent and their bills and food and to get their son back and forth to school and Home Care. Right now anything would help no matter how small it is.
