Hello, I'm the mother of a son that was diagnosed with Huntington's Disease. My name is Krystle. When I met my son's father, we had no idea he was a carrier of HD because he was adopted at birth. His adopted mother passed away before my son was diagnosed. My son's father is in a care facility due to HD and has already lost a son to HD at the age of ten from a previous relationship. My son's name is Tyrone, he is 13, and a happy, loving, and caring young man. Tyrone is a fighter and he loves the Ninja Turtles, Spider-Man, and all of the Marvel characters that keep him fighting today along with family support. So I'm reaching out to all families that can help me with my travel expenses, hotel rooms, food, and bills so I can continue to support my son in this difficult time. Shreveport is my hometown. I took an emergency leave from my work to travel for my son Tyrone's care of HD. He has been in and out of ICU due to multiple seizures, but at this time he is smiling and fighting. I have two other kids and a home that is being looked over by neighbors and family members.
