At the age of 37, I was diagnosed with Stage 3b breast cancer, triple negative. I went through chemo, radiation, and surgery to have my breast removed. By the age of 40, my breast cancer spread to the cerebellum part of my brain. This tumor was pressing on the nerves, causing me to be violently ill. Thank God for the alarms in my body for setting it off, or I wouldn't even have known that I had it in my head.
This has been one of the worst battles yet since it controls my equilibrium and motor functions. I can't see well; I'm having to voice text to send messages out. I can't walk, only with a walker to the bathroom and bed. The doctor gave me restrictions for the first 2 weeks to only get up and go to the bathroom with a walker. And the next 4 to 8 weeks, I'm just walking.
I'm doing this fundraiser because my family needs help. In this world today, it takes two parents to make a home, and unfortunately, with me not working, it is very hard to survive on one income from my husband with 2 small children. We need help; anything will help for water, food, electric, clothes for children, anything. We really appreciate all the love and support that we have gotten so far, and I will try to push forward in the best way I know how by listening to the doctor and doing as instructed.
I really don't like doing these things, but we need help. I appreciate anyone that reaches out to me either personally or through the GoFundMe account. Thank you so much, and God bless each and every one of you.
