July 25th was a classic stop-you-in-your-tracks moment with a triple negative breast cancer diagnosis, followed by MRI, oncology, and general surgery appointments. To having a port placed and chemotherapy started. Unfortunately, have little PTO time, and 2 kids at home still. I am looking at losing 5 hours every week without pay, because I am still working which I am grateful for I don’t have paid leave at this time. I am looking at 20 weeks of treatment plus surgery. Any amount would be helpful during this challenging ordeal. I have recently had a set back with car repairs and emergency vet visit. I am a single mother with 2 kids still at home.
