Hello, my son’s name is Nico! Nico is 8 years old and has level 3 autism. He loves animals and nature. Nico has a big heart full of love and is always joyful. But sadly Nico is non-verbal and does not understand most of the time. Which causes him to have outbursts of frustration and physical acts of pounding onto himself. Nico is completely dependent on me (his mother) for everything: feeding, bathing, changing his diapers, getting dressed, etc.

I created this GoFundMe for Nico for a procedure called Stem Cell Therapy that will take place in Austria. It is very expensive, and we would like to receive at least four treatments. Stem Cell Therapy involves taking good cells from the Nico’s own bone marrow plasma from his pelvic bone and injecting partial into the spine and the rest into the blood stream through IV. This procedure will help repair the damaged stem cells that has affected his brain. Once the procedure is finished the healing process begins and will see some changes between 1 to 9 months so that Nico will finally be able to speak, acknowledge, and so on.

This is my last resort, hoping I can hear Nico say the words, "I love you, Mom," or even knowing that he will be able to at least take care of himself once I’m gone. To be able to drive or even be able to work one day. No one understands the pain a mother holds in her heart, not knowing what’s going to happen once she’s gone and her child is left behind. I pray God works and heals Nico through this procedure. Even $1 can make a difference for Nico and his future.
