Hi, my name is L“KetaLuv” Finney,

and I never imagined I’d have to write something like this.

I’m a single mother, a small business owner, and a woman who’s been fighting through every storm life could throw at me. Right now, I’m in one of the hardest moments of my life.

For over two years, I’ve kept a storage unit that holds everything I’ve worked for, my small business equipment, my children’s pictures, performances and track meets, family memories, personal documents, and keepsakes that tell the story of our lives. Unfortunately, due to unexpected medical and financial hardships, I’ve fallen behind on the payments.

I’ve been injured, working to rebuild my business. Between the hospital visits, bills, and just trying to keep our lives afloat, I fell behind, and now my storage unit is scheduled for auction on (Friday, October 10th).

I’ve spoken with the facility, but they told me if I don’t pay or move everything out right away, I’ll lose it all. The problem is, I don’t have anywhere else to take these items, and I don’t have the full payment to stop the auction. My back is against the wall.

I’m not someone who likes to ask for help. I’ve always been the one giving help, through my work, through SOW8 LLC, and through supporting my community. But right now, I’m humbly asking for compassion.

I’m raising $750 to catch up on the overdue balance, lien fees, and late charges so I can save what’s most precious to me before it’s gone forever.

Every dollar will go directly to:

Paying the overdue storage balance

Stopping the auction scheduled for October 10th

Securing and moving essential items safely once paid
