Today, I’m asking for something I’ve never been comfortable asking for—a chance. A chance to continue healing, keep a roof over my daughters’ heads, and return to the life I’ve worked so hard to rebuild.

My name is Christian, and asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.

If you know me, you know my family has always been my greatest blessing. I am the proud mother of four amazing children and the incredibly blessed grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren. Being a mom has always been the greatest joy and purpose of my life.

Today, I’m a single mom working to rebuild my life while raising my daughters and recovering from two life-changing medical events. My dream has always been simple—to become financially independent, provide for my family, and create a safe, stable home for my daughters.

For 17 years, I was primarily a stay-at-home mom while also working on and off whenever I could to help support my family.

In 2020, I took a leap of faith and started my own business. I poured my heart into building it, and for nearly five years I was proud of what I had accomplished. My business represented more than income—it represented my independence, my hard work, and the future I was building for myself and my daughters.

As life changed, I was working toward becoming financially independent and creating a home for my daughters and me.

Then, on March 6, 2025, everything changed.

I underwent what I believed would be a routine medical procedure, but unexpected complications left me with permanent paralysis in my left leg. Overnight, I lost not only my mobility but also the ability to continue running the business I had worked so hard to build. The future I had been working toward suddenly came to a stop.

Even then, I refused to give up.

I fought through physical therapy, setbacks, pain, and frustration because I wanted my independence back. My goal was simple: to get back to work and continue building the life I had dreamed of for my family.

In March 2026, I was finally given the opportunity to return to work. It felt like a fresh start and another chance to keep moving forward toward becoming financially independent.

Then, just two months later, on May 25, 2026, my life changed once again.

I suffered a stroke.

I spent over a month in the hospital fighting to recover. Today, I continue receiving home health care every week while working hard to regain my strength and independence.

One of the biggest challenges I still face is that the stroke affected my ability to read. I have a job waiting for me, and I want nothing more than to return to work. I continue to work hard every day because my goal is to regain the abilities I lost and return to supporting myself and my family.

Every single day I continue therapy with one goal in mind:

To become independent again.

As if recovering from paralysis and a stroke wasn’t enough, my daughters and I are now facing another heartbreaking challenge.

We have now been served with eviction papers, and our court date is August 18. With the new school year about to begin, I am doing everything I can to keep a safe and stable roof over my daughters’ heads while continuing my recovery.

My greatest fear isn’t for myself—it’s not knowing where my daughters and I will call home.

Asking for help has never come naturally to me.

I’ve always believed that if I worked hard enough and never gave up, I could overcome anything. But sometimes life places more on our shoulders than we can carry alone.

The funds raised through this GoFundMe will help with:

❤️ Safe and stable housing for my daughters and me

❤️ Medical bills, therapy, home health care, and ongoing rehabilitation

❤️ Monthly living expenses while I’m unable to return to work

❤️ Transportation, accessibility needs, and other essential expenses during my recovery

Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to stability. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing my story would mean more than you know.

More than anything, I’m fighting to rebuild our lives.

While my older sons are grown and building families of their own, my daughters still depend on me every day, and my greatest hope is to provide them with a safe, stable home while I continue healing.

My goal isn’t just to recover—it’s to become independent again.

I don’t want to depend on others forever. I have a job waiting for me, and I am determined to return to work as soon as I’m able. I simply need help getting through one of the hardest seasons of my life until I can stand on my own again.

I still believe better days are ahead.

I’m determined to keep healing, keep fighting, and keep rebuilding our lives one day at a time. This is only one chapter of my story—it is not the ending.

If you’ve made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read my story. Whether you choose to donate, share this fundraiser, or simply keep my family in your prayers, please know that your kindness means more than words can express.

Thank you for believing in me until I can stand on my own again.

With love and gratitude,

Christian
