My name is Jackie Pena, and I am a mother first before anything else. I have two little boys—just 6 and 3 years old—who are my entire world.
Twenty-five years ago, I fought one of the hardest battles of my life… and I won. I survived leukemia. I grew up believing that fight made me stronger, that it was something I had already overcome.
But life has brought me back into a battle I never thought I would have to face again.
I have recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma.
Hearing those words shattered me—not just for myself, but for my children. Everything I do, every breath I take, is for them. And now, I am facing treatments and uncertainty, all while trying to stay strong for two little boys who still need their mom for everything.
The reality is heavy. My insurance is giving me a hard time covering critical prescriptions and care.
Bills don’t stop. Life doesn’t pause. And my children still need stability, love, and support.
I am asking for help—not because I want to, but because I need to.
Your donations will help cover:
• Life-saving medications and treatment costs
• Rent, utilities, and basic living expenses
• Daily needs for my boys while I focus on healing
I have beaten cancer once before. I am determined to beat it again. But this time, I’m not just fighting for me—I am fighting to be here for my children. To watch them grow. To hold them. To continue being their safe place.
If you can donate, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
If you can’t, please share this—because even spreading the word can make a difference.
Please help me stay here for my boys.
With love and hope,
Jackie Pena
