My name is Ashley, and I’m a mother to three beautiful girls — my oldest Kylee who’s in college, and my two little ones, Amira and Kolbi. They are my heart, my reason, and my greatest purpose.
For years, I’ve been fighting battles I never wanted — trying to prove myself to people who only wanted to see me broken. I came back to what I believed was a place of safety, a family home where I could raise my girls and rebuild. I poured everything I had into repairing and restoring it — thousands of dollars, countless hours, and endless hope — only to be met with betrayal, lies, and attempts to take it all away.
Now, the same people who promised me this home are trying to force us out in pure spite and evil. What began as an act of love and trust has turned into a painful reminder of everything I’ve overcome.
But I’m done fighting. I’m letting go.
Letting Go
I’ve spent years trying to earn love from those who chose not to give it. I’ve fought to be understood by people who never wanted to see the truth. And I’ve carried the weight of pain that was never mine to carry.
Today, I’m choosing peace.
I’m choosing my children.
I’m choosing faith over fear.
I no longer want to live in a place that holds so much pain and darkness. I want to give my daughters a home where they can laugh freely, where we’re surrounded by love, safety, and community — not fear and control.
I believe that when you let go of what was never meant for you, God makes room for something far better. And I trust He’s doing that for us right now.
What We Need
I’m not asking for help to fight anymore — I’m asking for help to start fresh.
Your support will help me:
Secure safe, stable housing for me and my girls and give me time to secure a job and daycare.
Cover basic needs as we relocate (food, baby items, utilities, and transportation)
Step out of a toxic environment and into a community of peace and love
I’ve worked hard to rebuild my life — I’ve stayed sober, I’ll have four years on Valentine’s Day, continued therapy, and held onto faith even when everything around me crumbled. I’ve done the inner work, and now I’m ready for the next chapter: one filled with light, safety, and freedom. I’m not going to lie, I feel I’m going against myself and scared to death. Faith. It took a friend sending me a sermon last night that changed my whole outlook and that pit in my gut and anxiety started to become lifted. The peace in the knowing..
Why This Matters
Letting go isn’t giving up. It’s trusting that God’s justice is greater than any man’s, and that peace is worth more than proving you’re right.
I know now that I don’t have to fight to be seen or loved — because God already sees me, and He’s sending people who will love us without conditions.
I want my daughters to grow up knowing that we can walk away from what’s wrong and still rise — stronger, softer, and full of grace.
How You Can Help
If you’ve ever reached a point where you said, “I can’t keep fighting — I just want peace,” then you understand where I am.
Your donation — big or small — helps us move forward in faith, not fear. It helps me give my girls a warm, stable home this winter and the freedom to finally close the door on a painful chapter. I’m done proving myself to a family who doesn’t love but control.
Every dollar, every prayer, and every share is a piece of that new beginning.
Thank you for believing that peace is worth fighting for.
Thank you for helping us let go.
With love and gratitude,
Ashley Nicole Reis
