On Tuesday July 29th my alarm went off at 4:44am to get up for work, but i immediately realized i was in excruciating pain from the lower right side of my back all the way down to the tip of my toes. As i tried to move to the edge of the bed amongst the pain im also noticing my entire leg is numb, from my hip to my toes. Me being independent me i throw my legs off the side of the bed to try to stand and my knee instantly buckles, luckily my butt lands on the edge of the bed. In that moment I’m freaking out and watching my life go right back down the hole and thinking again, I just started this great job that i love and i was slowly going to get back on my feet again. My kids were so excited, we all were!

As of today it’s my 21st day in the hospital. After 3 MRIs & steroid injections in my spine the doctors decided on Sunday August 3rd @6:30am i was undergoing an emergency surgery. They performed a Microdiscectomy and a Laminectomy.. it ended up taking twice as long for the surgery to be finished, now i have a nice 7” slice scar parallel to my spine.

I am still in the rehabilitation stage in hopes to gain enough strength back in my leg to make a full recovery my hopes of course are high but the doctor continues to remind me that there’s a possibility I may never regain 100% or close to 100% strength & mobility in my right leg. I know my god does amazing things, things I’ve seen with my own eyes! So i will continue to pray as well as ask everyone else to please, please, please pray for me also.

It’s taken everything in me to create this for donations for myself and my kids. The money will be going towards my rent, my kids and my cell phone bill that’s due in two days. My kids still need some clothes for school, transportation purposes, food.. just the minimum of our necessities.
