Our mom is our world and our light. ✨ She has a beautiful energy that is beyond contagious. Her home is always open, whether it’s to share a meal or to share uplifting words with anyone in need. Through her beautiful faith she has developed a forgiving and understanding heart that we absolutely treasure. She is well-known for her signature home-made baked goods, as she loves to see people happy, and she takes joy in surprising people with their favorite baked good just to make them feel special.❤️
Life shifts, as we have all experienced at one point in our life. In December, our mom was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. Her surgery went very well, and we were so thankful. The doctors informed us that everything was going well and, since they caught it early and her lymph nodes were clear, it was likely that she would only need radiation. Our world was paralyzed a month after surgery when we received our mom’s small tumor tests results. The doctors told us that the cells had become aggressive, and there is a possibility it can appear anywhere in her body. Through chemotherapy treatments, the doctors want to minimize the chance of this happening.
This has been a challenging time for our family, as we have shed so many tears, but we are ready to fight this battle by her side. Our mom is such a positive light to so many - through her love for God, her family, and her friends - and she has lifted so many spirits throughout her life. Now it is our turn to lift her burdens and help make her life easier any way we can.❤️
