As a full-time working single mom, I've always prided myself on providing for my children, entirely on my own, without child support, financial help for medical or an involved father, for their whole lives. But right now, I've hit a wall, and I'm reaching out because I desperately need help to keep fighting for my kids and maintain our stability.

My biggest battle is a draining and incredibly expensive custody case. My ex-husband, who has been in prison for our daughter's entire life until recently, is now seeking custody. His mother also intervened, and critically, my daughter was exposed to a man who touched her inappropriately while in her grandmother's care, causing my daughter to attempt suicide also while in her grandmothers care, am fighting with every fiber of my being to ensure my daughter's safety, but this fight has brought me to my financial breaking point.

I've already spent an excess to $10,000 on legal fees, taking out two loans to cover the costs. Now, I'm facing an immediate crisis: I need to pay my attorney $3,200 by August 1st, or he will have to withdraw from my case. Losing legal representation would put my daughter's well-being at severe risk.

On top of this, my car was stolen just this Monday by 3 juveniles and Las Cruces police released the only one caught to his parents. While it was recovered, I now have to pay a $1,000 deductible to get it repaired. This isn't just a car; it's how I get to work, how my kids get to school, and how we manage our daily lives. Without it, our world becomes even more challenging.

I'm already buried under $15,000 in high-interest debt from trying to fund this custody battle and other expenses related to my daughters medical emergencies from the incidents that occurred in her grandmothes care. I've exhausted all options for loans, as my current debt makes me ineligible. With both my parents gone and no local family, I truly have no one else to turn to for support or a co-signer.

I'm doing everything within my power to protect my children and keep our lives together. This isn't just about money; it's about securing my daughter's safety and keeping our family afloat during an incredibly turbulent time. I am praying for a miracle, and any contribution, no matter how small, would be an answer to those prayers.
